Responsibilities

• Implement our 7 Step approach for businesses looking to achieve ISO 14064-1 (carbon verification) and PAS 2060 (carbon neutrality)
• Onboarding new clients; helping them to gather
  the necessary quantitative data and other supporting information to start a new project
• Emission calculations: following the requirements of the standards, complete GHG calculations to help businesses gain visibility of their Scope 1, 2 and 3 emission sources, at both domestic and international levels
• Making a difference; help design Carbon Reduction Plans so businesses can combat the climate emergency in a credible way
• Project management and guidance; be the main point of contact for your clients, guiding them through projects and helping them at each stage along the way
• Building relationships; work closely with multiple businesses and provide them with the confidence to work with us in the long term
• The Carbonology® Hub; assistance with creating content for our new digital solution for businesses looking to combat climate change. This will involve producing training materials such as presentations and videos

Formal Qualifications Required

• Environmental degree – 2:2
• Other equivalent vocational environmental
  qualification

Skills, Knowledge & Experience Requirements

• Strong customer focus and ability to connect with clients and build long-term relationships
• Good attention to detail and analytical skills. Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
• Passionate about helping businesses achieve carbon reductions by creating sustainable systems for success
• Extremely well organised, excellent time management skills
• A proactive approach and resilience to overcome customer objections
• Ability to work to multiple deadlines
• Ability to think outside the box and come up with novel approaches to problem solving. At Carbonology Ltd® we welcome new approaches!
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a range of stakeholders
• Self-motivated, proactive and solutions/results driven
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to produce well-presented reports
• Experience of working in customer services and client facing roles, and ideally an environmental role
• Full clean United Kingdom driving license

Other Details

• The role will mostly be remote but will include the occasional client visit or team meeting at our London or Letchworth offices. Our current work pattern is approximately 80% remote
• Potential for international travel
